There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. For more information on ways to give to CBE, visit the Donate page on the CBE website.

Healthy Hunger!

Hello Bel-Park Families!!!

My name is Andrea Boucher, and I will be your Healthy Hunger coordinator for the upcoming 2026/27 school year!  For those who are new to our school, or have made the move in to grade 1, Healthy Hunger is a fun lunch we have once a month during the school year (with the exception of September, March and June).  Families go online, select & order, then pay for the child's/children's lunches with it being delivered the day of the event.  The great thing about Healthy Hunger, is that a portion of the proceeds made come back to our school as a form of fundraising.  I have listed our dates & restaurants below for you and when booking, I tried to ensure we will have a variety of items for everyone!!!   Our dates for the school year are as follows:

  • Tuesday October 6th - Boston Pizza
  • Tuesday November 3rd - The Saucy Bread Company
  • Tuesday December 1st - Mucho Burrito
  • Tuesday January 12th - Subway
  • Tuesday February 2nd OPA
  • Tuesday April 13th - A&W
  • Tuesday May 11th - Coco Brooks

To sign up (if you haven't already), please go to www.healthyhunger.ca  where you will find the registration link.  You will see a drop down menu of schools - please ensure you select Belvedere Parkway School!!!  If you have any questions at all, please contact the school and they will pass the message on to me and I will do whatever I can to help!

ATTENTION BEL PARK PARENTS!

DID YOU KNOW?

  • The AGLC Casino is our biggest fundraiser for the school.
  • Every time we band together and fill the volunteer requirements for an AGLC Casino successfully we bring in an average $80,000+ for Bel Park!
  • That equals approximately $2500 in fundraising money for every shift worked.
  • Anyone over 18 (with a clean criminal record) can work a shift for the school. It is the perfect way for grandparents to support, aunts/uncles/friends/neighbors, or the parents who are unable to volunteer in the school directly for whatever personal reasons to be a HUGE asset.
  • Some recent things that have been paid for entirely by Casino funds include: The gaga ball pit (purchase & installation), upgrades to the rock climbing wall, furniture in the learning commons, subsidizing field trip bussing, new volleyball/badminton net system, the upcoming Lacrosse and Alien in-line residencies and Trickster Theatre residency.
  • These items and so much more are paid for entirely by the PFA Casino proceeds, not the CBE! If we do not work together for fundraisers such as this, your children will not have these experiences!

Please sign up for a Casino shift when the call goes out. The impact is significant, the commitment is low (one day, no training, no follow up) and your children will instantly notice and reap the benefits!
